Joseph attended St Patrick’s Grammar School, Armagh and the University of Ulster where he graduated in 2007 with an LL.B (Hons) Degree in Law with Government (2:1) He completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Chester, graduating in 2008 with a commendation.

His interests include; football, golf and reading.
